I bought my own car when I turned 16. (4.5k) Saving was easy cause I wanted a car so effin bad. Bussed at a pizza joint on weekends, flew trusses with my uncle on early days, and saved bday/Holidaymoney. Good times!
I know Iβm going to get hate for this but Iβm under 16, yeah I know sorry I couldnβt choose my age, but I could also build the pc with all the parts. you donβt have to be older than like 9 to build a pc. And no Iβm not 9 I just donβt want to say my age on social media
i mean when i ws workin at like 16-17 i had 2k saved n coulda kept goin but i decided to drop like 1.5k and have the extra money as a back up if anything went wrong, js gotta be on the grind
Itβs obvious he yelled at mommy and daddy that he deserves it and they went and bought it for him. I bet if someone posted on Reddit that Santa Claus gave them something every gullible person would believe it. Good fake story Iβm sure he was hoping to go viral like every other liar on Reddit seeking attention.
He could have gotten a job at 14 and saved up over two years. 4000 dollars in 2 years, when you donβt have to pay for bills or food, isnβt to hard.
i built my pc at 11 with a 4070 super and ryzen 7 7800x3d, whole setup costing 3500$, and yes i paid for it. i have been working for my parents who own a business. im 13 right now and trying to get a G18 lol. not fake, i have pictures, and i have 2200$ left over as of right now.
What the heck? Is it not normal for people to take part in a job program or work a summer job or even a Saturday job at the grocery store? 16-18 is exactly the age I expect someone to be at in order to spend $4000 on a gaming PC.
In brazil i saved up 8.5k R$ (1$ = 5.87R$, but that doesnt work as a comparison because brazil’s minimum salary is 200 currency lower than usa that means 1514R$ for 1780$ or near to 6 months of work)
and my monitor is 180hz fhd 24hz from lg ultragear with a rx 6750xt and a r5 7600x
I did the equivalent of this when i was 12, Built myself a i9-9900k 32 go ddr4 ram, 2070 Super 750W corsair, Asus rog motherboard and all the kit. I was very proud of my self bought rig
bro 14 yr olds today are coding by the age of 10, listening to andrew tate at 12, collecting family gift money, flipping shoes at 13, xrp at 14 and the guy makes more per year than most 20 yr olds
To be fair i bought my first truck for 3000$ at 16 its surprisingly easy to save a couple grand as a kid without bills. I worked every summer for a baseball park from age 14 and i wouldnt be suprised if he did the same
Yeah crazy how the cost of living is going through the roof, a lot of us are struggling getting by meanwhile some people magically saving up thousands of dollars before they are even legally allowed to work like wtf lol I’m jealous as hell. Tbf i guess if you’re a kid and you’re lucky enough to where your parents don’t ask you to contribute to the house you can save every ounce of cash you have for what you want.

I have a friend who earns money doing manual labor for his parents, but heβs not into PCs (he lives off grid so it would be detrimental to the small amount of power made by his parents solar panels)
im 12 and i built my gaming pc
I am 13 years old and I made it
16 year is not a kidπ
Its possible if hes the smallest child of a big family. Easily possible actually.
Iβm 11 with 3k

yβall are forgetting you can get a decently paying job (for a teen at least) as early as 14 in some places
I’m 13 and I spent 2100 on my pc which my parents spent 600 euros on and I have to pay them back
he probably saved up by getting a job. my nephews started working at 14.

Gurubai looks like Kratosπ₯
How tf did this kid get a job while im over here 20 and still canβt get hired because of the shitty job market
I saved 15k when I was 16 working at McDonald’s. People are stupid if they think a kid that age can’t save money.

I used to build PCs when I was just 8 years old
I am 16 rn and just bought myself a 5200 can mountain bike… 8 months of working my ass off at minimum age

Simple, donβt do taxes.
I am 12 and I built pc with 1080ti
why is out of the realm of possibility that the kid just has a job? he is 16 after all π
A 16 year old kid could have a job. Or an inheritance.
Bro will play with 60hz 1080p monitorπ

by 15 I saved enough to buy a 5800x3d and 3070 build when they were top of the line, so like 2-3k in the span of about 4 months of working. Its v easy
mom this wont even let me do homework but its ok π

Getting a PC before you turn 18 is the best thing you can do
