They increased the price and are adding already free to play games. War thunder was free to play on last gen console and no-one ever played it. Spending money for a library of free to play games 7-8 years old cool beans 😅

I have moved to fully digital since 2018 and I don’t regret it, at least with Xbox all my digital games are still playable (from 360, One and to the Series).
Game pass was my motivation for canceling my game fly subscription. While I do miss the discounts. I still feel I’m getting a better deal with game pass. The best thing about gamefly was physical copies.
Please bring Stadia back
You get game pass to play the games you’re intersted in. You end up staying for the games you never thought you’d be into.

I pay for it even though i have literally over a thousand games. Just for the new releases and random indie titles. Im slimming down, though after letting my subscriptions bloat the last year.

In my country xbox game pass for pc is around $5 a month. that’s a steal if you ask me

I like the idea, but I don’t have any interest in a lot of the games on gamepass, and I don’t even play games that often, so I might get a new game every 3 months or so. I got rdr2 almost 6 months ago and haven’t bought a new game since. The thing isn’t for me, but I understand why people like it.
I sold my Series X and just play on ROGALLY-X now and the PC ultimate gives me access to 97% of my library and cloud play for the rest. I am on a plane at least twice a month and traveling with my xbox was a massive pain. The ROG is an amazing piece of tech and now with the latest update i can have all of my steam and xbox games in the same launcher which is great
Edit, I can say that cloud gaming is way better, I cloud played cyberpunk using Alaskan Air wifi on an 8 hour flight this past weekend
I got a nice collection of pyshical collection and I see gamepass not as a replacement more as a way to try a game before you buy it

I usually play pc so im used to pc game pass which is $10 a month and you get every game available including day one. Tried to get standard $15 a month gamepas on my xbox and it doesn’t include the game i was wanting to play (clair obscure) tried to upgrade to ultimate on the same day i signed up for standard and they wanted me to pay the full price of $20 a month without refunding my standard or giving it to me for a cheaper price since i already had standard… its crazy how xbox gets the short end of the stick on game pass when it was made for xbox. what a s*** show
I absolutely love Xbox Game Pass. I use it for console & PC. Flawless transitions between the platforms. It’s gonna be incredible once the new Xbox Ally X handheld drops!
I get to try out a lot of these games to get a feel for it. With very little time, I need to be sure of whether I want to spend the time to finish a certain game. So I try it, and if I like it, I actually just go ahead and buy a copy for certain games
I am finally playing DayZ because of Game Pass. I am about two weeks in and wish I got it much sooner.
It’s great value, specially bc you can earn free game pass by doing microsoft rewards, so that is huge, of course you need to commit some time daily to doing ms rewards but they do not take long and within an hour or so, can give you free game pass.

If I absolutely love a game I will go out of my way to purchase a copy of it. But being able to try whatever I want for 20 bucks a month saves me probably $260 a month from buying new games. Can just play half this stuff instantly. Xbox has kept me around because of this

2 years ago I got a killer deal – 38 months game pass ultimate for $60. Talk about killer value, to the point I made a point of buying game on Steam even tho they are on game pass (ie. expedition 33)
It also leads to me trying games that i wouldnt ever have.Replaces that rental experince of tring something you neverheard of wouldnt ever buy but its there so why not and find a gem.Tons of these Obsciria 33 was one.Hell Rouge Prince of Persia is right now and Back to the Dawn icould name a few more that are on right now.

It’s a simple proposition: Do you purchase $20 worth of games per month? If so, Game Pass is probably for you, at least financially speaking. I don’t. So it’s not for me.

Was attractive, but with the price hikes and killing off of most cheap purchasing methods, has me doubtful I will renew, I just don’t have the time to get value out of it at these prices.
