  1. 4:11 begging for a free key is the lowest low and the biggest cheapskate of all time. Streamers and YouTubers earn money, so they can easily buy every game on internet.

  2. Got it, so if it’s 2k, EA, Ubisoft, or Activision use key sites, but if it’s a small studio just buy it

  3. I only ever bought one game from Key sites, kinguin if I’m not mistaken, it was Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but the legacy one which didn’t sell on steam anymore since they release the garbage Special Edition that ran like ass in my old rig, so I just went and fuck it, got the good version of Skyrim, best purchase ever lmao.

  4. Cd keys is top shelf I’m not interested in anything but getting the game as cheaply as possible 😂😂😂

  5. As someone who usually has a pretty small budget I often times just pirate games and if they were good or made by a solo dev or indie team i buy it outright when i have the money

  6. How does isthereanydeal choose safe third party sites? Is there some sort of review board? What are their criteria?

  7. Personally i know key sites are not the best for devs, and i really try to avoid the shady ones, but i just can’t afford to pay full price for my games anymore. Civ VI for 60€ on steam ? When i can get it for 2.60€ and also buy food ?
Key sites are my only way to ever play these games, i wouldn’t have the opportunity otherwise, even if yes i know, it sucks for the devs, and i’m really sorry. 😢

  8. Thanks for the video had no clue that G2a was gray market and shady. I’ll stick to the legit markets from now on.

  9. Guys I promise just save the 30+ dollars buying a key…. you are not effecting these trillion dollar companies I promise just like when a disc version for console is resold do the developers make money off that….. no they don’t so why are we the users not aloud to buy someone else’s game key off them? Just cause it’s digital?!?!

  10. I’m gonna straight pirate the shit out. There is no grey area either you buy legit or pirate, that’s it for me.

  11. i use fanatical and eneba i wanna tap into g2a and only cuz id be getting those cheap ass steam keys don’t care if the games are shit a couple bucks

  12. People complain about the price
When here the problem is even if you can afford it
You have no payment methods 💀
And people think you are a bad person or something
When you simply can’t get a bank account due to being so undeveloped and wartorn
This is is a *rare* scenario which is why no one recognizes it

  13. Genuine question. Is CDKeys legit or is it dodgy?

They never seem to have dead keys or any issues with keys being deactivated. The site directly sells and collects payments unlike G2A

Are they in the same camp as the dodgy ones or are they slightly different

  14. I stopped with buying keys via sites years ago since switching to pc, i personally wait for steam sales just so these things wont happen. F g2a and kinguin

  15. Well, I am just poor 😢, so I buy them, but now I mostly went to buying on GOG, DRM free and cheap.

  16. Is it really worth buying off key sites? It’s your own moral compass so if you decide that’s what’s right it is what it is

If you have any suggestions for any other topics surrounding the games community let me know!

  17. I bought darksouls 2 on g2a for 10 bucks and i regret nothing. Idc if it was stolen. That game is not worth the 40 bucks steam wants from it.

  18. Why pay 30 bucks instead of 40 when you can pirate it! I have downloaded so many games this way and havent had any problems.

  19. Wait so, if they use stolen credit cards to buy keys so that they can resell them, meaning they launder the money, it should only hurn the person who’s card was stolen, right? It’s a money laundering scheme, so how do the developers get hurt when they still need to obtain the keys through an actual seller. Also, why shouldn’t YouTubers ask for a free copy fo the game, if they have decent amount of viewers they are doing you a huge favour.

  20. I am a game developer. I am happy that people are playing my games. If you focus on stopping people playing games, whether it be over pricing or anti pirate garbage everyone loses out. Focus on making good games and you will reap the rewards. (I have no mortgage)

  21. I am very guilty of shopping in shady markets, I do often hesitate because of the potential harm it causes… But my evil side wins and that cool indie game I might like just is around 2 bucks… But I really need to quit this addiction.

  22. When you do a search for, for example, a season pass… The top results are always these sites. I don’t want to hurt the developers but it’s unavoidable in some circumstances

  23. Does not burden me.. As by the time any game gets removed due to possible fraud from where I purchased it, I’ve already finished the game or grew bored with it.
I never go back to a game I’ve finished.
