  1. Ali express is goated but I think that’s come to an end. Pre tariff junk I got a r7 5700x3d for only $140 after a discount. An insane drop in upgrade from my r5 2600.

  2. I think the guy i bought my 7900xt from on eBay was on the shady side, but he delivered me a perfectly working product so I’m not complaining, same applies to my 7800x3d on Mercari lmao

  5. nah in the uk the best place for cpus and gpus it is cex, i seen a gtx 1660s for £100 and i bought a rx 570 for £60 as 100 was out of my birthday budget lol. its a full strustworthy store full of disk games and some cpus go for like £20

  6. i got my parts here and there lmao, all brand new, had to buy between bills, works amazingly now that i got it running lmao

  7. AliExpress was great until the tariffs destroyed the microchip market. $180 for a Ryzen 5 7500F but then $100 more for import fees. Pre tariffs it was at most $20-25 for imports

  8. I just got a 11 year old Lenovo y50-70 and its being shipped rn, and I saw a review saying how it is slow, but that was like 7 years ago, and I know that u can update the the CPU or GPU, I don’t remember, but don’t think the computer will run better now then when it came out

  9. when buying cases make sure to pay attention to the shipping costs – due to their size and relative fragility, the shipping on its own may end up costing as much as the case itself in some cases. from my experience it’s usually an extra 60-70% of the case’s value.

so basically what I’m trying to say is: try buying the case in person, and if there are no stores near you then remember that it’s basically impossible to get scammed on a case seeing as it’s basically just a hunk of metal, so feel free to buy one second hand – it’s not like it can die on you.
