I Tried CHEAP Web Hosting For WordPress…(so you don't have to)

Cheap web hosting offering premium quality? Does this even exist? Well, I took a look at the cheapest web hosting companies available to find out.
✅ $2.69/mo Best Overall Choice — https://emit.reviews/go/hostinger-discount?cheap25
🔥 $2.25/mo Best Performance — https://emit.reviews/go/webhostmost?cheap25

The best choice comes down to what you’re looking for. Not just price.

Hostinger, the best choice for beginners due to all of the free tools they include within the pack — https://emit.reviews/go/hostinger-discount

WebHostMost, offering the most transparent pricing, best price to performance ratio and overall stability as well as quality of service — https://emit.reviews/go/webhostmost

InterServer, with US based private datacenters, they offer a tangible advantage for US based customers, but the interface is quite outdated — https://emit.reviews/go/interserver

DreamHost, cheapest 1 year plans, but nothing fancy apart form that — https://emit.reviews/go/dreamhost

ChemiCloud, great tech stack, low price and excellent support, but no extra features or free-addons — https://emit.reviews/go/chemicloud

IONOS — Not recommended
Bluehost — Not recommended
FastComet — Not recommended

In essence, I would say there are 2 types of cheap web hosting providers. Those who are so cheap you’re basically throwing away money on a product that doesn’t work. So it’s more of a “marketing gimmick” and then the real cheap web hosting choices and then there are budget options that offer good “trial” prices. During my search for the best cheap web hosting providers I actually bought the cheapest plans available and created a test website on each of them for a minimum of 3 months.

Then I tried to see:

– How easy was the setup process?
– How is the initial performance when the website has no users?
– How good is the performance under load (simulating with bots).
– What’s included in the price? Are you getting a good deal?

And what I found out is that in most cases, you get what you pay for — cheap garbage. But I was very unpleasantly surprised by some of the most expensive entries on the list ranking LAST in both ease of use and performance.

The best choices seems to be Hostinger and WebHostMost, but for two different kind of users. While DreamHost/ChemiCloud/InterServer are right behind with some niche applications. While Bluehost/IONOS & Fastcomet seem to be nearly unusable as a cheap web hosting provider.

Time Stamps:

00:00 – Here’s what I bought
00:40 – How good is the cheapest one?
02:22 – $1.79 is not the “actual” price.
04:00 – Wait, all of this for just $2.5?
08:35 – $2.69 offers THE BEST you can get
14:00 – More expensive IS NOT BETTER
16:22 – You might be missing out on these gems
18:40 – WATCH THIS IF YOU’RE LAZY

  1. 17:58 interserver has a superb hosting ecosystem (I am using a vps with docker tho, the $3 monthly) all my portfolio projects loads sharp and very fast
    Haven’t faced any issue yet

  2. emit, I am currently using Hostinger’s Cloud Starter Pack but am considering switching to Scala Hosting’s Cloud Entry plan. However, I noticed that Scala Hosting does not offer a 12-month or longer plan for the Cloud Entry option with a Singapore server location, which is a requirement for me. Could you recommend the best plan for my needs, ensuring it includes a Singapore server?

  3. You can export all the files after 48 months ? Or do they use a lot of plug ins which are only available on host8nger to keep you there?

  4. So what about "webhostmost" pro plan vs "scalahosting" Entry Cloud ? or Premium Cloud
There are very similar in perf no ?

  5. Shared hosting is not recommended for web agencies due to hosting all of the sites on the same space without isolation please make a video about reseller hosting

  6. IONOS deleted my website by mistake and didn’t back it up as they claim on their site marketing and they offered me lame, stingy compensation. any suggestions?

  7. As it turns out, you can get some pretty good hosting for cheap (until you look at the renewal price). Overall you gotta know what you’re looking for. Does it "just have to work" for like an hour or a day. Do you need a cheap long term project or you’re trying a new venture and just want the easiest to use solution at the best price. In all 3 cases:

✅Best overall solution with the lowest price and most inclusive service package $2.69 Hostinger – https://emit.reviews/go/hostinger-discount
    ✅Best performance and long-term scalability $2.25 WebHostMost – https://emit.reviews/go/webhostmost

  8. awesome review video – thank you for your in-depth analysis – great work! I’m going to try WebHostMost based on your recommendation.

  9. i purchased hostinger 4 years plan in 2020, created two websites, used in on/off for the first 3 years, get bored last year, now i can’t justify 10.99 for renewal,

  10. Cheers from Louisiana!
I’ve used Dreamhost in the past, but when my intro rate was over it wasn’t worth it… did Bluehost, and basically I hate them (no need to go into it, but as mentioned, they were slow as hell).
Tried the free plan at WebHostMost for about a month and a half, and was impressed! I do WP and UX/UI dev along with HTML5 motion assets… just upgraded to their basic 3 year plan and I’m really satisfied. I just needed a cheap place to work, and I couldn’t be happier.

  11. pro tip for the millennials here: *currency sign comes BEFORE the number* … ie. $12 or £8
looking at the numbers for pricing on this vid is like eye cancer.
don’t do what this guy did. you’ll just look dumb and show you’re rather illiterate (and innumerate).
other than that it’s not a bad vid.

  12. dont use blue host, it says $1.99 a month or something like that but you have to pay for a minimum of 36 months at once which would come out to be $83, or if you click monthly guess what? it will be $15.99 but then come out to be $78 after you add in all the other things they make you pay for just because you didnt have the money upfront to pay for the 36 months so monthly you dont get a domain, no security etc so you have to add that you still end up paying a fortune

  13. I’m a DevOps engineer, and before I discovered your channel, I didn’t know this kind of niche even existed. Usually, I just set up servers—either bare metal or virtualized—and use container-based apps to run all the necessary applications. It’s like breathing at this point, and I never thought there was any other way to deploy something.

But after watching your channel for several months, it really broadened my perspective. I realized, "Ah yes, not everyone or every company has—or needs—a dedicated team just for their landing page." Sometimes, people just need drag-and-drop tools, one-click solutions, and that’s totally okay.

Keep up the good work, dude!
