When the price increase was announced, I didn’t care, I have only paid for gamepass in the last year about 3 times, the rest of the time, I used Microsoft Reward points to get it,,, but I see now they took away the gamepass for points option, so I will just redeem them for gift cards, … I just got back from the store, bought 2 cards, so I am good for 7 months roughly, So, the price increase hasn’t really affected me,, and considering all the free months I have already gotten, … meh…

In Australia, my daughters ultimate subscription is going up by $13 a month. That’s over 50% increase. What a joke! I’m just checking whether she’ll get away with the cheaper plans because I’m the one paying. $35.95 a month is just robbery!
We can’t continue down this stupid subscription for everything. It costs a fortune every month for all the subscriptions from streaming, gaming and event else. I’d rather go back to purchase and own.
These stores already gave Microsoft the money for the cards. You’re giving money to the stores, not Microsoft. These are limited supply at this cost so get it while you can. I loaded up a year’s worth. They’re at GameStop as well.
Thanks to Xbox I officially started my PC journey lol been on Xbox since the 360 but with all these prices going up and these horrible decisions they been making (still mad they cancelled scalebound) Iโll finally make the leap to PC.
I used to get gift cards but itโs not worth it anymore not after they started making woke dog crap political games and just bad games. Game pass used to be amazing now it isnโt just look at the past games they put on game pass that flopped hard. To those who do get game pass enjoy it but be aware not every game is going to be good and they might not make a good game for months never know when.

I don’t support Microsoft’s recent actions, but they are still getting money from you this way (obviously). More so, this method is likely helping Microsoft clear out gift card inventory quicker.
if the code is activated properly it doesnt matter what you paid for it. you can also use g2a or a couple other websites just make sure youre getting a code and not a full burner account for a month
I did this when they increased the price last year. I loaded up on the white cards. I have about 20 of them in a drawer. Can use them for myself, and gift them out as well.
