  1. There was always a backdoor way of buying with a cc. I bought a little with it but as you said most issuers have since said they don’t allow it

  2. Thanks for publishing this! Hoping for some help: My OKX wallet contains some Tether USDT, and I have the seed phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. How should I handle moving them to OKX Exchange?

  3. I moved to binance after deleting my coinbase account. To escape from these fraudsters was the best decision in my life

  4. I’ve never understood why CC issuers care, whether I buy $200 worth of drinks, or $200 worth of Crypto. Those drinks retain no value. Either way, I am on the hook with them for $200. Same with "cash advances." As long as I pay them who cares. Rant over.

  5. I’d rather go to a casino and put my money on a blackjack table than put ANY money in cryptocurrencies. At least at the blackjack table I have a little more control over the success of my money.

  6. I don’t disagree at all with anything you said, but it has been out for more than the 1 or 2 years you said. "Dude it’s only been around for 1 or w years". Bitcoin started in 2009. Like I said I don’t disagree, hasn’t been around long enough, and it’s too volatile for anyone to claim to be an expert, but it’s been a thing for longer than 2 years. 8 years ago I had some friends tell me about it and I ignored it…. Then it hit $1000 in 2013. And then obviously the $20,000. Oh well. If you do do it you have to time it right

  7. They also don’t allow it because people can buy Crypto with a credit card then refund the purchase on their card, but still get to keep the cryptos because they are irreversible transactions.

  8. Just remember cryptocurrency isnt backed by any nation therefore if you lose it the banks wont back it . Just ask all the people who had bitcoins in mt gox quadrico or other crypto holding companies that got hacked or lost info

  9. Just saying if you live in a college dorm… Mine crypto with free electricity, just saying. I live in a dorm

  10. DAMN IT! LOL I was all excited for nothing (lives in WA state). Oh well. It probs gunna save me from myself in the long run.

  11. There is no way anyone can call "crypto" a currency as long as it has the potential for a -50% loss within a short period of time. The whole POINT of a currency is that it is a stable store of value to do business with. There is no other reason to have it. 100 US$ will still essentially be 100 US$ 6mon from now. Cannot say that for Bitcoin/etc. Another factor is that it is SUPPOSED to have a limited supply. But with new coin offerings popping up every other day, it’s no different than printing money. Tulip mania…that’s all it is.

  12. If my bitcoin or cryptocurrency goes down in value….does that make me eligible for purchase protection? ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. Nice that exchanges like Binance and Bitfinex are constantly improving showing examples to other platforms.

  14. I used my Capital One Quicksilver for Crypto Currency purchases at Coinbase in the past. I did hear that banks would charge the cash advance fee and interest if you bought Crypto Currency with a credit card. I stopped using a credit card for Crypto Currency once I heard that.
