  1. Wow. Price increases, less content,no retainer offer, switching services to try to save $10, cancelling hassles, learning a different service, and who knows what else…no wonder people switch to third party apps for a fraction of the cost.

  2. Now my peacock is $8 a month it was $2 from Black Friday I tried to get that deal for $30

  3. I don’t see the ESPN service doing too well, not at that price because this is where the “I might as well go back to…” argument in COMPLETELY valid. The simple fact is football is the 800lb gorilla in the room so if you want to watch the B1G & Big 12 you are going to have to get the Fox service along with Peacock & Paramount+. The same goes with 95% of NFL games because every other week either CBS or Fox has the National Game of the week in the afternoon and NBC has Sunday night football. At that point you are paying the same amount or more for YouTube TV or Hulu with Live TV. Even if they find a way to bundle unless it’s cheaper by $20 or more I think more people will opt for convince to have it all in one place.

  4. My only gripe about youtubetv is I wish they’d make it easier to switch channels. The return to previous channel feature is nice but be nice if you can switch channels easier.

  5. Max is a cool name to try to get to stick, but the name HBO was built up for so many decades that it was just not a good idea to ever drop it.

  6. Im tired of the price gouging. Either free or i will go outside and sit by the fire with a beer. 😂

  7. Had the ONN 4K Pro and then bought the ONN 4K Plus for our second TV. No more Firesticks here.

  8. I need a suggestion. I can’t decide if I should get sling blue or my entiantiment direct tv. I do have Hulu and max without ads. Any advice ?

  9. We have Sling TV with sports, entertainment, and Showtime. ESPN plus, Netflix, Prime, Peacock, and Paramount. It’s cheaper than Optimum cable. Of course we pay for the internet. I love multi view for tennis. I ordered MAX to watch Roland Garros, but the coverage was horrible. I cancelled it quickly. YouTube TV was wonderful, but when they dropped the History Channel I had to go. Streaming is becoming over saturated with limited content. We have been watching the RedZone for years. I doubt if we get the ESPN bundle. It’s so much after a while. Have a great day. ❤❤❤❤

  10. I had ESPN plus to watch mnf but could not watch unless I had ESPN on tv so it was useless

  11. I just got the onn 4k plus and its a beast. Super fast and uses Google TV. The best price to performance you can get.

  12. All of these services are too much because they all have a plus version. ESPN is the biggest joke because even if you have ESPN+ from Verizon, it will ask you to log in with a cable provider to watch ESPN, even if you have Hulu. When you really want to watch something on the ESPN app, it will block you for some reason. Even if you do get in, the broadcast is fill with the same commercials.

  13. Why don’t you do a deep dive into apple TV mobile appull up I think you’re really missing out

  14. I prefer free TV. The commercial breaks gave us, on the one hand, a moment to absorb what we had just seen and heard and, on the other hand, a bathroom break.

  15. Hey Michael, super happy you’re putting these videos out there! I’ve been sharing them like crazy with everyone I know. I really hope they’re getting the views they deserve, because honestly, you’re putting out some great stuff and deserve way more than you’re getting. Thanks a ton!.

  16. as of today paramount+ still free with walmart+ membeership which is cheaper tha amazon. walmart +only 98.00 a year free delivery in store prices same and often theywill convert an item or 2 to shipping free. but be carefull. if you check out the items with free shipping overnight it drops your cart value to under 35.00 so you will see 6.99 delivery charge on the card. so if you want them to ship the items, keep shopping to get your cart back to 35.00 or more

  17. I was in the process of cancelling my MAX black Friday subscription because it was on the verge of expiring. As I was in the process of cancelling they offered me $3.99 for the next three months. As soon as I saw that, I said, no thanks, and still proceeded to cancel. I guess I’ll wait and see if there will be another black Friday deal the next holiday season.

  18. Directtv doesnt allow me to add my rsns, despite the option to add them because they say i have no rsns. Lol. They also dont give you cbs or cbs sports network.

  19. As of June 23rd 2025 I’ve been experiencing while watching live TV a black screen at times, it will go into a commercial and then the screen go black I have to go down a channel and back up a channel just to get the picture back anybody else experiencing anything crazy with live TV? Like a black screen every so often you got to go up Channels with down channels just to get a picture back?

  20. ESPN for $30 a month??? Where did they come up with that number? Way too high in this economy 👀

  21. Finally, make ESPN only for thise who watch it and take your fees with you – so sick of paying sports taxes for channels I don’t want ir watch

  22. It’s really not fair to compare Sling to the other streaming services. To be equal you would need to combine both Sling services and have addons to match the channel lineups of YouTube TV or Hulu Live, etc. Then the cost of Sling would be more than the others.

  23. I wish someone would make the streaming services denote the % of shows they have in 1080p at the time of signup. They all advertise 1080 as if that’s the predominate resolution you’ll be watching at, but I’ve noticed YT cutting major corners over the past year or so on resolution…from just once in a while to now getting upscaled 720P outa YT TV almost every time I watch TV. Bad enough I had to put up with their ads harassment a couple years ago, in an attempt for me to buy their promoted ad-free version and take more of my cash per month…smh. I’ve been a YT TV customer for 3 years and it’s upscaled 720P on almost all sports now and even on many DVR shows now…smh. DVR movie on 720P?…gmab. Looks like no more one-stop shopping for me for live TV…unless I wanna support the robot takeover! l :)..Ohh joy! The old satellite dish is still in the back yard… and when I’m starting to consider rabbit ears again, things are not good! My advice…don’t stay with YT TV as long as I have (no more than a year), as loyalty is just a word these days….doesn’t benefit the consumer in the long run, but preys on them instead….imo.

  24. I only watch business and basic news. Direct TV package tailored for me was $39.99. Canceled YTTV. Now use my AppleTV plus the Direct TV information package. Saved me $40 plus dollars per month.

  25. Wish I could get directv but still have issues with it saying my card can’t be authorized smh

  26. When cutting the cord, Is there a way to select all the channels you want to watch, then from your selection see what streaming tv platform would fit you best? Or dobyou have to go to each a d look at their selection. 🥴

  27. Thanks, Michael, for everything!!! 😎I love your videos! I watch you and CCN the most 🙂

  28. I have, absolutely any interest in multi-view. YouTube TV should offer it at an add-on price option. Multi-view is stupid.

  29. The key words that you used. For the first year which translate to a price increase for the 2nd year. No thank you 😊

  30. The onn device is only good in the US. It doesn’t have VPN support which is a deal breaker. 😊

  31. I was anxiously awaiting your June update. Thanks, especially for the multi view demo. Disney is trying to monopolize sports so ESPN direct will look better and better. It’s a bad omen for Max that any NBA broadcasts on TNT are moving to ESPN. Side note. Even those who don’t like sports can enjoy sports broadcasts, as sports is the only genre with live, unscripted programs. Thus allowing the viewer to feel more in touch with the real world 😊

  32. I’d like to switch from Direct TV to UTube TV, but, they still don not offer the History channel, What morons.

  33. Hey I Just saw your youtube channel. What I have to say is that everyone should drop streaming networks. Here’s why? I have a middle of the road tv.The TCL 85QM851G and football,NFL and College sucks!! On Sling and YouTube TV which I’ve had both on Google TV on the TCL, 4k Roku TV. The 720p resolution is a dam joke. Now I have the Apple 4K 3r Gen. I didn’t pay over $4k for a TV to watch 720p sports what the h3LL!!!!

  34. I wouldn’t mind paying $40-$45 if ESPN bundled with Fox One. Those are the main 2 sports channels I watch besides my in market baseball team.

  35. I hope ESPN & FOX beginning their own streaming service forces YouTube TV to offer a sports only package.

  36. Only reason I have YTTV is to watch college sports specifically my beloved Texas Longhorns so since pretty much all their games in all sports are on a ESPN channel paying 30 bucks for the new ESPN streaming service instead of over $80 for YTTV works for me

  37. I tried the YouTube TV cancel trick again and got a surprise.
    Anyone else still getting offers?

Appreciate you being here as the channel gets closer to 150K 🙌
