Currently the best and most affordable plan is the student/teacher discount which costs only $19.99 in the US.
In my video I show you that I used to pay for individual subscription nearly $60/mo and the trick I use to get it down to only $20/mo, plus on top of that I got 3 months for free!

Hi I have had with discount for a year but this year it is back to normal price. It also is telling me there is a cancellation fee of around $500. The customer service says that I cannot receive further discount after a year. Is there anything else I can do?
I love how everyone is finding such creative ways to stick it to Adobe, but this is piracy on a whole new level. You basically pirated an entire contract renewal from the company itself at a discounted price based on the plans they already have available for teachers, which you are. I’ll bet they never saw that one coming. I got a similar exploit to getting employee discounts at Applebee’s if you submit a job application and get hired. My friend’s dad had a neat trick where he aged 60 years over his entire life to hustle a senior discount out of AMC movie theaters. Anyway I just typed your name into Adobe’s AI and they generated a bunch of free commissions from you based on what you store in their cloud. Now that’s a discount!
The concept worked perfectly, though i did it differently :
* i first searched for discounted codes and prices online, i always use a computer for researching as desktop browsers provide heaps more search results than mobile browers.
* i logged into the Adobe Webpage page
* my subscription was due to be paid now, so the option to cancel my subscription was removed
* i contacted Adobe through to chat bot.
* explained the Adobe Creative Suite was too much for me to pay, i actually dont use it often, so i want to cancel my Subscription and use online Adobe Creative Suite discount codes that i found that are heapppps cheaper.
* i did not try and scam and say i am a student or teacher
* the chat person then said they would see what better deal they could give me.
* i took a screenshot of a webpage with the discount code amount and sent it to the chat person.
* the chat person offerred me an amount which is the student rate, which i gladly accepted , and now i have the Adobe Creative Suite at a student rate, though still on my existing account without scamming about being a student or teacher.

I think I did a similar thing but it was for a limited time… like a year or something. I had like a year break from using Adobe and want to get back into it BUT the prices are so mental… it’s messed up. They basically want you to over 600$ every year for the rest of your life… subscriptions from every platform really takes its toll
I had Illustrator only and I cancelled after couple of days. Then they gave me an creative cloud offer for 36 Euro monthly and one year.

You can pretty do this with any subscription in the US. You’re welcome, lol…
OK. You don’t need to say that you are a teacher. Just tell the operator that you wish to re-implement the Introductory price of £20/month and they will just do it. No questions asked. I didn’t even have to give them a reason, but you are correct, £58/month is a massive rip-off, if you compare it to MS365 [£7.99/month]

This doesnt always work, for the past 2 years it worked and i was offered the same rate i had been getting instead of the regular 59.99 a month, however this time (just today) it confirmed my cancellation. adobe is pricing their users out of existence

Thank you – because of this video I got my price down to half what I was paying and a full refund for the current month. I cancelled then was immediatly offered a better deal. They ask your reason for wanting to cancel – I ensured that i indicated high price was the factor. So this way, even tho I am not a student or teacher, I still have a reduction to half, as they immediatly offered a better deal to entice me to stay. In Cad thats $44 CAD instead of the $89 they wanted to charge!

this is really dumb. Once too many people do it they will catch on and just end it. Plus knowing Adobe they will update their policy and retroactively cancel peoples subscription. Just keep this kind of thing to yourself and with trusted individuals
