as someone who has worked at a thrift store before most the time they don’t know what their selling, you can find amazing deals if you know what to look for. i got a $400 canon camera for $10 it has one tinny scratch on the screen but it’s hardly noticeable and you have to go looking for it. other then that it’s like new.
I have a 5900x that looks perfectly fine but it took some blunt force trauma and the die is fucked. That being said, 6 bucks is a risk I’d take anyday on a cpu like that
Hey Zach i was wondering if you could help me with something, i was wondering if you could give me a gpu because my gtx 1660 broke and i have a i7 4790 and a dream
I mean the best I got was facebook marketplace.
Got a TUF GAMING B550-PLUS, 5600X3D, 32 GB of ram (it technically came with 16 but my cousin had a spare set that was the exact same), and Wraith Prism cooler ALL and I mean EVERYTHING for 125 bucks flat.
$6 seems very suspicious. I feel like this could be faked as it just seems too good to be true to get that cpu for $6. Might be faked honestly but yea, still neat tho.
I once got a gtx 960,at goodwill for $6
Got to find the ryzen 4070 for 25 bucks
I got a 4070 super for $600. Not a crazy deal but it was well below any of the prices on Amazon or Newegg lol

its rare to find good stuff at a goodwill store. they usually list the good stuff on their site and sell it
thats a shit cpu ryzen 4070 is better
That’s cheaper than most stuff they sell in a good will store that is just junk..
This is sooooo crazy 6$
"SEEEAALLED!!!"
lol i actually am using an i7-4790 in my current pc.
DAMN, whoever that dad was rolled a Nat-20
got my 24in curved scepter monitor from goodwill for 25 bucks hell of a steal
Either fake or someone working there had no idea what it was. Anything of actual value at goodwill gets put up for auction online.

Leave goodwill for the less fortunate. That’s it that’s the comment.
Found a 27 inch 120hz moniter at some thrift store in the box for 20$

Some teenager was probably grounded, and had his CPU given away.

I did just find a MASSIVE lot of peripherals for 25$, but I am outside of us so no benefit for me…

Some people just love Goodwill Hunting 🤣😅😅
I’ll see myself out.
I have 3 goodwill in my area I mostly just used them to strip out hard drives because they sell old computers for $15-$40 depending
i found a gtx 1080 for $13
My area doesn’t have a goodwill or else I’d shop there constantly to breathe life into the discarded stuff there
Got my motherboard from Walmart in 2018.

Sure, let me sell my kidney to fly from Germany to the US to buy a GPU and fly back.
Sweden be like: RTX 4070 super gigabyte for $825,19
THE EXACT SAME CARD AT WALMART IN USA IS $587!!!
Goodwill is better for finding an old reciever to hook some speakers to and get away from the soundbar nonsense 😊
Imagine someone finds a 4070 super for 100 dollars
