  1. I don’t trust that they don’t know my files so I aes-256 zip with password my files before storing. I generate random characters for file names and folders and changing extensions before zipping. And no personal stuff. 😂

  2. I believe pCloud lets us stack lifetime storage as well, but it seems to be limited to 17 TB total. So you can buy 10 + 2 + 2 + 2 for 16 TB, but not 10 + 10 for 20 TB.

It would be good information to have this confirmed and included in the video, as well as if a similar limit applies to the others.

I don’t think I need more than 10 TB today, but it would be disappointing to leave a lifetime account behind in a few years if my needs change and I can’t pay to expand the storage more.

  3. what is traffic limit in pcloud

i have purchased 2tb lifetime… now i cant share my files to unlimited users (iam confused)

  4. Here’s my #1 criterium for selecting a lifetime cloud storage service: I want to be independent of their proprietary software, and be able to fully automate my uploads (typically backups) via something like ssh, rsync, sftp, or rclone.

Pcloud and Internxt work well with rclone. Haven’t managed to get it working with icedrive yet, officially it’s not supported. This makes Icedrive a no-go for me.

  5. Pcloud is getting shady af with these discounts. I’ve seen multiple sites today alone promising 30-50% off… but the prices listed are the same as normal. Very scammy.

  6. I made a Wrong comment
Pcloud dosent have acces to files stored in, pCloud Encryption
Pcloud dosent scan files, before or after upload

Pcloud only scan files inside the none encrypted folder

    Sorry for this

  7. PCloud is ultra slow on downloading lots of files, 108m/byte uploads and only 15m/bytes downloads. The app in windows has a lots of bugs, crashs a lot on a Razer Blade Laptop 2024. I wanted to change my Cloud from MEGA to pCloud, bud I m going to retour to MEGA. Ultra fast downs and ups here in my region on MEGA. !! When I see that you can get a discount on pCloud, I assume that this is all paid advertising !!

  8. Thanks, that was informative, pCloud seems like a good choice, but how bad it can be to not have encrypted files, as it’s an extra cost even with lifetime plan right?

  9. Used pcloud and internxt.

    Both are worst.

Both removed our accounts, telling about some stupid policy.

Files were same in my Google drive. Google have no issues whatsoever.

Takeaway : I lost my data and my money.

    Don’t fall for this lifetime.

Get yourself a HDD and use tailscale(no geek stuff) . Viola, you get your own private cloud that can be accessed from anywhere.
