  1. CPR saved my life!!! At the age of 33, I had a pulmonary embolism induced massive heart attack in May of 2023 and was dead for 7 minutes. They had to go through my throat to remove the golfball sized blood clot… I am so lucky to be here and to not have sustained much permanent brain damage, or lasting heart disease. I had a history of blood clot but hadn’t had one in years but I remember how one in the leg feels, however I can’t remember anything leading up to the event… The last thing I remember was Cinco de Mayo just passing but other than that I couldn’t tell you one thing about what I was doing that day or where I even was. All I was told was that someone saw me and performed CPR and whoever that was, they saved my life. Once I was cleared from the ICU and moved to the step-down unit, a nurse saw me and said "I didn’t think you were gonna make it"… That was the moment I realized how serious the situation was.

All I remember was waking up to my mom sitting at my bedside, my throat hurt from being intubated and my chest hurt from my sternum being broken from CPR (The amount of pressure that needs to happen to effectively perform CPR is something you just don’t understand unless you A. Are certified or B. Have experienced it)… I believe a CPR certification should be a required for all citizens, just like getting a driver’s license or a state issued ID. Imagine how many lives could be saved…

Nobody asked for all this but, whenever I hear about CPR I can’t help but share my story!❤

  2. Wish we could do it like that here in Australia instead of having to be in pain with bad knees on the floor to pass. So many staff dread this course due to knee injuries or back pain every year. Obviously in a real life situation you would get down but just to show you can do it on the ground just to pass the course is awful. No one should be in pain to do a course.

  3. Hey!👋 God put it on my heart to tell you that He loves you and wants a relationship with you. He made it possible by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die for our sins. And because He died for ours sins, Jesus became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:9), confirming that He is the Way, Truth, and Life and that nobody can come to the Father (God) except through Him (John 14:6). All you have to do to receive eternal salvation is believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9). But it doesn’t stop there. Yes, you are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). But it is possible to loose your salvation. Faith without works is dead. You can’t just believe and your actions completely contradict your faith. Therefore, faith without works is dead. Also, before you decide to follow Christ, count up the costs. You must be willing to give up everything and anyone in your life that hinders your walk with Christ, even your earthly life. If you aren’t willing to do this, then Jesus says you are not fit to be His disciple (or in other words, follow Him). God says if you are friends of this world then you are enemies of Him. This world is filled with liars, thieves, sexual immorality, witchcraft, murderers, idolaters, etc but God hates that so much that He sends anyone who continues living like that to hell where souls are tormented day and night forever. But this is why Jesus came and was offered as a sacrifice for all of us. So we could be transformed and receive eternal life. God knows that we can’t do this on our own so we have to constantly pray to Him and read the Bible. His Spirit will work through us so we can overcome this world. Wishful thinking will never get you into heaven. Now that you know this, what will you do? Serve God and receive eternal life, or serve this world and receive the eternal death that comes with it. Anything in between is the same as choosing this world. The Bible says choose today whom you’ll serve. Tomorrow is not promised. I sincerely pray that this message reaches your heart🙏
