  1. Would you consider the asus rog 32inch XG32UCG? Its a 32 dual mode monitor that I haven’t seen anywhere

  2. This is the perfect productivity monitor. You can use it to do any normal tasks at 4K 160Hz. If you need to do some gaming, it even gives you options there too. I’d love to have a desk with 3 of these at my workplace!

  3. Once they’re available retail here in NA, I think I might just pick up one of these for my spare/guest system. Thanks, Tim!

  4. I already regret getting a $466 Samsung 27” Odyssey G7 (G70D) 4K UHD IPS 144Hz monitor for review (Amazon Vine). This one sounds like a much better monitor. Thanks Tim!

  5. Time to get 3 for a triple monitor setup and then wait 12 years before we have enough gpu to run it

  6. Can someone explain me why limiting display to only small part in the middle should even be a feature? What’s the advantage of it over just using GPU scaling with no scale mode enabled?

  7. I paid $500 in 2008 for an HP 24" glossy LCD 1080p, 60Hz monitor. I felt at the time that it was a fair price. It’s stunning what you get for similar (inflation adjusted) cost today.

  8. Gah if this was a 1440 240hz/1080 360hz, I would buy it! I just don’t need another 4k display, but it is nice.

  9. It’s great to see an affordable 4k monitor for the mainstream.
Tim have you heard about KOORUI monitors? They have impressive specs and targets gamers and creators with 120% srgb and 95%. Dci-p3

  10. the expensive part of this monitor is the GPU you need to run it well with demanding games.

  11. I’m using my M27Q you guys recomended years ago and I still love it, even with its BGR pixel layout!

  12. Great review! Is anyone able to actually purchase this now? Even using the affiliate link, I can’t find it anywhere.

  13. Please review Gigabyte MO27Q2 QD-OLED monitor.
It’s currently the cheapest QD-OLED 2k 240hz monitor on the market. At least in my region some IPS monitors are even more expensive!
Where I live it costs $530 only! (this is with 15% VAT included + shipping)

  14. Contemplating if I should get this for Switch 2…. But I want true HDR support.. Wonder if there’s one with true HDR that doesn’t go too far from 300 usd at a higher cost

  15. So…

Best QHD HDR Value : AOC Q27G3XMN (Because available on worldwide) or AOC Q27G40XMN on US

Best UHD SDR Value : GIGABYTE M27UP

Best UHD HDR Value : Acer Nitro XV275KP3

    Am i right ?

PS : Thanks RTINGS and Monitor Unboxed for your incredibly amazing work.

  16. Love the name critique! Most people upgrade a monitor every few years and figuring it out with the names is a pain! Your work is phenomenal!

  17. Guys, the lg 42c448c4 seems like good OLED screen for PC (lg positioning it in this state) with various technologies for PC (vrr, g-sync, freesync). But is it good enough? I’m playing at 2-3m away from monitor and 32" seems really not enough. Can’t find really good reviews with tests..
Sorry for bad English, not a native speaker.

  18. It is simply CRAZY how fast monitor tech is moving! I "just" bought a Gigabyte M27Q-P 1440p 165hz monitor less than 2 years ago (I actually think it was less than a year ago), and I already feel like I wasted my money because of this one.

Not a bad thing though, because this means that more people of access to 4k resolution screens. This will induce competition (FOR SURE) and help drive prices down further.

I’ve had my eyes set on OLEDs though……so I’m waiting out for those lol

  19. I was surprised to see the dual mode, because I have M32UP and it only supports 160Hz as far as I know.

  20. Universal Recommendation Daddy Tim on a roll with some good and varied products reviews. The market has responded to his ‘year of OLED’ to stop him from falling asleep; how thoughtful.

  21. ever hear of a Haurve 32” UHD 4K 144Hz Gaming Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand, PD 90W, HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, USB-C, RGB, Speakers, 0.5ms, 3840X2160 Display, (HG3214K) ? $289 on Amazon?

  22. Hi, could you please test Acer XV275K P5? There are almost no reviews of this out there and this a refresh of the previous P3 model. It’s exclusive to India and Singapore at the moment, and seems to be improved over the P3.

  23. While I’d prefer a higher refresh rate, HDR and OLED, there’s no mistaking that the price for what this is is still incredibly compelling.

  24. 27" 4k is too small and 27" 1080p is too big. It’s IPS, so *ultra low* response times and not even in the same universe as HDR… I’d sell you my imaculate 42" LG C3 for the cost of this thing…

With OLED, your response times are *perfection* no matter the refresh rate; no need for overdrive modes to overcome inherent LCD limitations…

With OLED, no need to abandon beautiful HDR or color gamut perfection…

I assure you that after spending your hard earned money on that Nvidia graphics card, you’ll want an OLED to pair it with…noT some cheap PoS some panel pusher trying tog et you to buy a marketing spin…

  25. Sir please clear my doubt. What happens when my fps is lower than the monitor’s refresh rate? Please make a video.
I get 300-450 fps in CS2 and I have a 400 Hz monitor. Thank you!

  26. Great review, Tim. Would you consider doing reviews of 5K and 8K monitors? Some of us need them for professional video editing.
