  1. Any advice on how to find and choose a validator to stake with? Like what criteria to use to choose one or the other?

  2. For beginners like me, this is a great video! Do you recommend to stake only DOT? How about e.g. COS or CELR? Generally, what are the risks related to locked staking? That the coin price drops? If so, is there any possible way how to short/hedge the coin elsewhere?

  3. Hey buddy!
I have some polkadot, and i would like to stake them.
I was wondering if staking them on AscendEX is safe?
I understand that if the whole perform gets shut due to some reason i will loose all my coins, but if thats not the case, are there any chances of my dots getting slashed?
On AcendEx website they do not mention about any risk involve in staking.
Can someone please shade some light?
    Thanks in advance.!

  4. New sub… Well done. Actual value on this video compared to most other crypto channels.

  5. Staking DOT on Polkadot is a nuisance. You need to have at least 200DOTs to get chosen by a validator. I made the mistake not to know that. Now I am stuck wihth my funds and cannot unbond my funds anymore – do not know why. Very annoying!!!! I´d rather stake on kraken next time!

  6. I am staking my Dot on Kraken
I was going to stake my Eth on Kraken too, but i read that once i have staked it , I cannot unstake it until the 2.0 is done …. is there a risk I could lose my ETH ?

  7. Thanks Paul very informative video, I wil be stacking my dot next week on chain.. keep up the good work

  8. One of my Pick’s…. DOT, ADA, ChainLink EGLD, Quant KadiaChain and Bitcoin…. I may have to rethink my DOT staking, currently on Kraken, as I have 200 plus.
Another great Video Paul… keep up the good work, excellent resource for us Newbies!

  9. Thank you for the video, if I stake 10 dot and then buy 10 more after I have staked the first 10. How do I add the next 10, do I just go through the same process and it will be added to the original 10. Im guessing the only downfall is that you will be paying twice in fees? Can I also withdraw the DOT whenever I please? Thanks

  11. i keep seeing people saying you have 84 day to claim your staking rewards… is this true? Does the validator do it for you? or do you have to do it yourself? I have been staking for well over 100 days and never clicked "claim rewards" or even know where to find that. On my address in Subscan I see staking(rewards) does that mean they are being claimed and added to my wallet? Is there a way to see "TOTAL REWARDS EARNED" or something?

  12. BUY KUSAMA IT WILL BE BIG,ONLY 4 MIL AVAILABLE!!!!! POLKADOT !!!!!! KULUPU KLP !!!!!! DOCK !!!!! REEF !!!!! CARDANO ADA !!!!!! CHAINX PCX !!!!!! TO THE MOON

Ethereum IN 2015 WAS 0,50 cent’s thing about that people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CARDANO ADA is the next Ethereum !!!!!!!😁❤💕❤😍😜

  13. Wait so u get 14% payout onchain weekly? I thought that was on a annual basis. Great content btw thanks

  14. If I brought some DOT on Kraken site and staked it through there if I decided to purchase more DOT later would it automatically stake for me?

  15. Hello I heard that unstaking on Kraken creates a tax event like selling your DOT? Is that True??

  16. I crypto with Coinbase because it comes straight out of my bank account and is easy and I don’t have the banking options in Kraken. However, you can’t buy DOT with Coinbase so to buy DOT in Kraken and I have to transfer ETH from Coinbase to Kraken and then convert and it seems like I always take a huge hit (like 8%) when transferring the ETH from Coinbase to Kraken. Am I doing something wrong?

  17. Hi everyone! Which validator should I choose to stake my DOT if I have under 200 DOT?

  18. Staking on-chain. How do I work out my ROI? I do notice I am making just over .1 dot per day by staking 300 initially.

  19. If I decide to UNstake on Kraken and while I’m waiting that 28 day period am I still goimg to receive staking profits fornthe 28 day period??
    Thank you
    Great video!

  20. Thanks Paul…I have a small DOT balance with Kraken, only about 25. I’m still confused on how my funds are used with staking. Is someone using my 25 DOT reducing it’s value until it’s all used up and my reward is a 12% on my 25 DOT? Or do I retain my 25 DOT and the 12% acts more like a dividend adding to my 25 DOT? If I stake can I buy more DOT and add that to my stake balance?
