  1. Or you life just in the EU and have a good power cirde.

In the 20 years i lief in thr hause i had one poweroutage and this was thanks to a bulding compny miskate.

In my time in Florida we had it at least 2 times a week.

  2. I’m considering installing a large inverter/charger and battery bank to a transfer switch with a generator input for my situation. We tend to have many power dips and outages, and such a system will allow all my vital components to have backup power.

  3. This is might be good for your pc if you have 1990’s power supply. Good quality psu’s has industrial level electrical surge protection.

  4. Recently had a power flicker that blew up my Thermaltake PSU. that sound was NOT pleasant to hear come out of my BRAND NEW 5800X/7800XT build. sent me into a proper panic.

Sorry little modular 850w Thermaltake, your Sacrifice was well appreciated. Have a 900w (reports as a 1000w) Cyberpower UPS now. if I’m just web-browsing? it does actually have a fair bit of run time. my router is on it as well. The modem is in another building, so need to get one for it as well.

  5. Had one from APC for my first PC since I was scared… But not worth the price. It literally went kaput a few months past it’s warranty.

  6. Fuck, pc went through death throws due to flickering from a storm. Was on a strip but nonetheless i fixed it now wish i knew theses existed before

  7. I have that exact same cyberpower one but when the power goes out it beeps so much and wake me up from my slumber

  8. Why should I Buy an Expensive Pice of Crab that will not getting Used at all, I live in a country where Power outages are Zero to None… the last major one was I think 7-8 years ago… and normally If it happened the power is back in near 2-6 hours max…
If its more than 8 Hours its a Major accident and if its more than 24hours its War

  9. The first time you have a brown out or power cut you will realize how useful one of these is. And LAUGH at anyone who complains about a power outage.

  10. Ok so I am just a student, and I have a 4060ti and i7 14700kf. I do not have money for a ups BUT I have a surge protector. Bro a UPS is so expensive

  11. The flickering is happening too much where I live due to strong storms and abrupt temperature changes due to a cyclical natural phenomenon that occurs every some years, I don’t remember the details but it’s good for crops, not so much for electrical devices.
