Love the videos! I would love to see SFF builds if possible since I’ve been liking smaller cases and builds
I have a an x670e aorus master with a 9800x3d 32 gb of 6000mhz all im missing is an 9070xt aorus master 😊
I have a question regarding the new pcie 5.1or 3.1 connector. i have a msi pcie 5.1 supported psu but i have a pcie 5.0 supported cable extension. So if i use this extension with a 5.1 supported psu. Is there any kind of problem using a 5.1 psu with a 5.0 supported cable extension in a 5070ti? I am afraid of doing this might brick my gpu or psu for that matter
running a 7800x3d with a 750w PSU. not sure if i can play with 9070 XT
Been hearing one of the XFX models is going to be in the $750 to 850 price range …. Smart of AMD to hold off when they did last year so they can have plenty of stock for all the AIB’s and no FE cards, so they can charge more in the name of Tarrifs
I’m thinking of getting a 9070xt. I want to build the best and highest quality pc with that gpu.
What would you guys recommend? Thank You for your help!
Can you make an itx build for the 9070xt please
Good lock to all those attempting to buy these "vapor" launches. Even if you do get one, good luck keeping it… Bought it off NewEgg this morning, confirmed payment and confirmation send via email, only to get a follow up email 30 minutes later with a notice of cancellation. Now every card is gone!!!
*UPDATE: To ensure compatibility with all 9070 XT, the $1200 build has a slightly better PSU with 3×8-pin connectors. Previous model had only 2.*
Are you planning to build with RX 9070 XT? Which build most interests you? Let me know in a fresh comment!
In your $1500 build, if you don’t care about rgb on the ram would you recommend anything better or is the price too close that I may as well get the rgb? I guess what I am asking, is there any ram with better performance, without rgb for the same price or less? lol
I got a r7 7700 for 170€ on aliexpress. Hoping to get a fair price for the 9070xt in France.
Sold out instantly in Finland. All the sites that sold these here went down as well, the XT seems to have been insanely anticipated card. Managed to somehow grab 9070 XT Pulse.
Seeing recmended CPUs: "My i5-12600 will be fine 😅"
Perfect video for me as I’m looking at starting a new build. Great work especially with the spliced video highlights!
the $1500 build is nearly the same setup I’m trying to get for my son’s bday later this month
i have PSU MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5, are these really an A Tier PSU?
Hi- I have a question about pc case and build!
Will the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm AIO ALSO fit in the Lian Li 216x with an ASRock X870e Nova Wi-Fi Motherboard with dimensions:
305 mm (L) x 244 mm (W) x 50mm (H) at I/O shroud measured from MB backplate to top of I/O shroud) AND 36 mm (H) from MB backplate to top of VRAM heat sink?
i wanna upgrade my PC but i wanna do it in steps and i was thinking of doing my GPU first im just wondering are the bottlenecks gonna be to huge for the upgrade to be worth? its gonne be paired with a 3700x and 32GB of 3600mhz ram with a b450 ROG strix for a while. my current card is a RTX 2080TI
I’m going with:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: RX 9070 XT
RAM: Team Group T-Create Expert DDR5-6000 – 32GB – CL30
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE RGB
PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro, 2TB
Case: Lian Li Lancool III
Nice choices my friend. Tons of good info 🙂
Never built a PC before, but I think (if I can get the GPU) I can do it with the help of your other videos. I’ll shoot for the $1500 build, but new peripherals will kick up the price.
Having money to spend makes big events like this a lot more exciting!
Once again an amazing video, 2 thumbs up! I just assembled a new build today with a 7800x3d and I am hoping to be able to order a 9070 XT tomorrow at launch here in my region. Is there any rule of thumb as to how much you want to overpay on the more premium models? I watched the full video of the line of cards but its hard to keep up with it all, is there any of the 2X8 pin cards that is more "bang for the buck" than others or should I just be happy with either model? Thanks in advance. Really enjoy the videos.
I was able to pick up a 7950x3d new for 500 in December. Sometimes checking the used market can get you some superb deals.
In Norway you get the PC without the GPU for 2000$.
At time of writing it’s 7 minutes until the 9070 XT launches, and the largest online retailer won’t even list the GPU prices.
Edit, price at launch:
ASUS TUF Gaming RX 9070 XT OC – $1013 (loads in stock)
for refrerence
ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti OC – $1291 (also loads in stock)
You can build a whole PC with the 9070 XT for the price of a scalped 5070ti lol
I pre paid for my xfx 9070xt and it was 729$
For the 2000$ build, how about the 9 9900X? Would that be sufficient?
Sweet I just got a RX 9070 XT!!!! I tried to get one of the $600 MSRP models but I just couldn’t. I ended up getting the power color red devil that was one of the more expensive ones it’s crazy they had way more stock and just for fun I kept checking the stock after I ordered mine that red devil was in stock for about a half hour I think AMD didn’t EF this time!!!
Got me one this morning a sapphire super excited
Make PC Gaming Affordable Again
😂
maybe its time to retire my 3050 lol
does the Vapor chamber have an big effect on cooling or is it just a gimmick?
I wish these were in Australian dollars!
Will a 9600x bottleneck the 9070xt at 1440p?
I like the first two builds, but the $2000 build doesn’t make as much sense to me the 9800x3D deserves more than a mid-range GPU.
Today, an RX 9070XT was listed in stores for 1050 euros…where did you get 600 dollars?
Man, sometimes I don’t think Americans appreciate how cheap their builds are, lol.
Thanks again for your time! Love your energy and enthusiasm!
ha! good luck finding that 599 gpu, they sold out in like 10 seconds. Only ones that were actually in stock for more than 3 minutes were like 700-800. I had to go with the over priced PowerColor Red Devil everything else was gone
I was only able to grab a 9070 Hellhound (non xt) about 2 minutes at launch for $629usd. Would you consider putting together a build for this card or similiar non xt version? Would like to use it for game streaming. Thanks for your videos! My go to place to watch for build guides.
Hi there, do you think it’s better to go for the 9070xt or the 7800xt if i still using ryzen 7 5700x cpu with cs750m psu?
why is it too expensive in europe, there is no mrsp card in europe
meanwhile 9070xt is 800~900$ (excluded powercolor) in my country, sadge!
You get a free 512GB SATA SSD and Monster Hunter Wilds with a 9600X from New egg. I think that’s a decent deal. E: 9700X gets the game but no SSD
I would like people’s opinions… I have a amd 9800x3d with 64 ram…. is it better to go for 9070xt or 7900 xtx? I want good performance from 1080p all the way up to 4k… I have a very good monitor…
I am torn over gpu… screw nvidia…
would a 5800x cause a bottleneck here? with DDR4 until I can upgrade those?
Would a 5800X3D be a suitable cpu with a 9070 XT?
I have used 3 of that asus x670e-a motherboards and none of them worked. I tested with 3 cpu and 2 different ram kits. I updated bios using flash back and it didn’t work. Newegg was nice enough with replacements but asus itself was a bum to give out replacements. However bottom line is i didn’t get it to work with 7600x or 9800x-3d. I have built uncountable number of pcs in the past but I loved to have this motherboard for my full white pc. I ended up getting a msi white motherboard off ebay and it worked just fine. Please do not buy that motherboard if you are weak at troubleshooting. All three motherboards were manufactured at 08/24. Let me know if you encounter this problem because I see no way of me being unlucky even when I went the extent to isolate the motherboard from the case twice.
Was up bro I’m building a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER & AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D Gaming PC for my son but I just need a graphics card which one will be good for a good budget
Wow they went fast! Was able to secure a Gigabyte RX 9070 XT -OC thankfully. Question I have is, you mentioned its on the smaller side compared to others. Maybe would look better in a Micro ATX setup. Would a 240 IO cool the 9700X or would I need to go 360? I hear good reviews on Thermalright Frozen Prism. Any input welcome. Thanks!
