  1. Your example uses BTC-USD pair, leaving you with USD cash you can transfer to you bank account. In my case, I’m trying to sell ETH, the onlly pair available is ETH-USDC. So I can use your advice to save fees selling ETH into USDC, but then I’m stuck with USDC and no option to sell or withdraw into cash (in my case NZD). So I am back to selling USDC with coinbase fees of 2.5% to cash out into my bank account. These fees are lower than selling ETH into my bank account where fees were quoted at 4%. AI looked at converting ETH to BTC to gain access to BTC-USD but that pair is not available to me. Possibly geo restrictions?? Any way to apply you method in my case? Thanks

  2. I left coinbase after 4 years of being a loyal client. Because they started jacking up their fees and forcing me to over trade so
I went to kraken 5 times cheaper fees

  3. For those of you using the App, you have to press ‘preview buy order’ to see the execution options.
    Amazing, thank you so much.

  4. Thanks for your great video I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn’t understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with $60k and I’m up with $328k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

  5. so that’s just if you want to keep it in the account and wait for bitcoin to drop to swap it back? what if I want to remove it from my account to my bank, would it be less fees in selling the stable coin then there is an withdrawal fee too how can I get round that?

  6. You explained it very well. Using the advanced purchase was so confusing until you explained it. I will use it from now on. Thank you. There should be a way for us to send you some sats.

  7. This video was the greatest thing I ever found I was looking for a way to avoid those fees Thank You for sharing and helping me out

  8. The tax forms for Coinbase One does not include monthly fees. In order to find your monthly fee go to your checking account and do advance search year to date i.e. 01/01/2024 to 12/31/24 for the amount $29.99. Then print it out and include it when filing your taxes.

  9. Thank you for posting! Looking for help: My wallet on OKX holds some Tether, and I have the recovery phrase: -clean- -party- -soccer- -advance- -audit- -clean- -evil- -finish -tonight- -involve- -whip- -action-. How to handle transferring them to Upbit?

  10. Coinbase was the worst investment I ever made due to extremely high fees. I regret ever trade I made there. Honestly, it’s unethical.

  11. Ha those fees are still ridiculous. Because let’s say you by with $1k $6 fee.. and sell $1k $6fee $12 in fees for 1 trade in and out??? Well if I profit $ 13 on this trade coinbase makes $12 of it in fees??? That’s crazy.

  12. also… in order to reduce coinbase fees even more- if applicable you need to build trading volume on the platform monthly, the more you trade the more you’ll save , you have to check your Tier under "fees" and you will find out where you are

  13. So i am as new to all this as a baby with an umbilical cord so please excuse my ignorance but i have questions. Starting with how much it costs for well everything… I am interested in wetting my beak with some crypto but i just have yet to figure out even the basics. If i start a Coinbase account and i buy my first crypto i then have to add money to the account for a fee? then i buy whatever crypto then i need/should transfer it to a wallet of sorts which is actually just a digital key that allows only the key holder access to its riches….Correct ?? But there are fees for the purchase of the "coin/stock" and there are fees to move it to a wallet? And on top of that there are fees to add money to the Coinbase site it self? Kinda hard to wrap my head around how much this costs to even use/own/rent? the use of crypto.

  14. I have a question for you… First I had to set up an account to get paid from an investment … ROI type… this was a long process .. and last Friday I was told the funds will start to show in my account in 12-48 business hours… so I am waiting … this morning being Sunday I see that there was 2 transactions… a quick buy and sell of BiT I believe… around $115,000.00 buy and sell within 1 minute.. I dont know who or how this happened but anyways I have had my account locked to prevent more from happening.. and also I have my PayPal account linked to it… and it paid coinbase a $980 charge… that was a part of a recurring payment that I dint know I even had set up… Does any of this makes sense to you ?

  15. I don’t pay fiat deposit fees into my Coinbase account..but my friend does. It’s coming from Bank of America.

  16. The fees are way out of control. I’m probably transferring all my crypto to a cold storage and finding other ways to buy and sell.

  17. Thanks for the tip. As a newbie to crypto, yesterday I created a Coinbase account and bought $1000 of ETH. To my dismay, it showed I got only $950 worth of ETH and Coinbase ate full $50 ($41 transaction and $9 for price hold). So they have 5% fee per transaction. It must be a scam. Who charges 5% fee? So, I got disgusted and tried to sell off $949 worth of ETH and then Coinbase showed it will charge me $28 for selling. The shock never ends. Any youtuber who recommends Coinbase is a scammer too.

  18. dayum i think i lost like $1000 so far on coinbase due to this fee stuff, just started getting into crypto currencies and coinbase was where i started last week. thanks for this info brother. i’m using this from now on

  19. Always Limit price / post only! Everything else is just a profitable business. I guarantee you every noob will go through the same mistakes with high fees in the beginning

  20. What happens if, for example, you see XRP moving around and wish to set a buy price of $1 while you go to bed, in case it drops while you are asleep…then you wake up and see it at $1.30 and think ‘that will do’, and buy in. Can you cancel the old order that was waiting for a price that didn’t happen?

  21. how can you send from coinbase advanced? I can how to sell but not send. Do I just switch back to basic , after I have bought in advance mode?

  22. So there is no difference in fees and taxation between doing several transactions Vs. fewer transactions on Coinbase?

  23. Great video, Wade. Two questions: 1) is having your bank account set up to transfer money automatically cost extra in fees when your order executes, and 2) does coinbase charge charge a fee to deposit money in your account?

  24. That was a good amount of help. They tried getting me with free 50$ worth of bitcoin, but only seems to work when using the normal layout and not the advanced screen

  25. About half way through this video, I realized that THIS was the video I NEEDED! I am starting to learn how to buy and sell crypto and I was not sure how to use thie feature in coinbase advance but now I do! Thank you sir!!!!!!!!

  26. I’ve been paying fees for so long…until today! The fees were like 700$ and I had to find an alternative! Thanks for the help
