my level 130 account had LFA level 100 full sub. SQH level 100 4/4 active 1/4 4th sub and tbb level 20 with core. still had 5 mill stellar to spare. only doable cus i picked cot over stellar multiple times. entering void campaign chapter 1 with 3 trans heroes and betty core was super easy.
I feel like it hasn’t been the best Treasury for F2P we ever had. I find 1600 WC a lot for just the 20 rings (don’t get me wrong, getting WC is hella easy, but with how WC had some of the better events in 2024, this isn’t something worth writing home about). And then the gemium event (puzzles) is dreadfully uninspiring. Especially for a Valentines event, this is whatever. They didn’t even give us free Festival Skins or new avatar – which is a missed opportunity.
But to not be overly negative – I actually for once liked the mini-game. It was quick and actually relatively hard to notice some of the differences and then the "which one is real" question was also fun to check.
Also I despise the fact that we aren’t getting Artifact Chests, but this bs "pick one from few" menu. I have been trying to finish Antlers for months now and I can’t even waste my Treasury slots for them.
11:50 My rule is – when I have finished my previous hero to T5, then I’m usually ready for another Transcendence hero. Then I allow myself to waste my daily gain of hoard chests for CoT instead of Stellar (which is like 2000 CoT). It feeds the need of CoTing without wasting too many resources.
(btw. it’s kinda how it’s timed for F2P right now – the onslaught of Stellar has been really great).
12:15 I have been solely pursuing Core Chests for like half a year now. I get so much Subs and Destiny Materials from everywhere, that the only thing slowing me right now from getting that 4th Destiny hero are Cores, lol.
Which is wild, considering when I started around Mockman’s Transcendence release – I thought I wouldn’t ever get Trans Mockman myself on F2P or at least in like 5 years. And here we are with me trying to push that himbo to next Destiny level.
14:00 I mean that’s a full dinner for me, straight up 25-30PLN. They are in fact wilding, especially as they didn’t add these as SG shop reward.
15:00 I don’t think that many people will break. It’s a "good value" for Idle Heroes standards. I would maybe spend like quarter of a dollar for this amount of resources / rewards. Especially as I can just wait a month, get more SG and just use that shop to push for those rewards. Or just wait until my daily resources stack up and hope for one of those events where they were giving Origin Artifacts for free.

26:15 Mind you the puzzles when finished give also rewards… Awfully underwhelming ones. Compare this to Zongzi like events where I get like rewards that range from some Sublimation and materials, half a core to some Aurora Gems.
36:50 Well the base stat buff and the percentage ones from the collection do stack up. A free Treasure would be cute, if the rest of Gemium rewards were good. Even Chinese New Year had it done better?

I’m building tix and carrie, do I wait until I’ve the food and the events that give me copies or just spam build them. I’ve e5 Eloise 9* ignis 5* carrie, 8* monkey 6* aspen 10* Garuda. I’ve some good 5* like penny, vesa, queen, 4 copies of Garuda, Rogan, Beatty. I’ve a bunch of forest and shadow food but no tix, idk if I’m supposed to use chest when I only have 3

Getting 2 core/sub chests for 4k gems and 1600 WC is amazing. It doesn’t even require a full event completion, plus you could just use 4k gems for 2.5m stellar or a sub/core chest which is God tier. Some of the best value I’ve ever seen in my 4 years playing honestly.

Damn, that was a great breakdown. I was honestly going to do the $130 to get the extra destiny mats from the other event and hopefully end up with the 3 star soul mats. Glad I watched this first, I didn’t math out the 800 points and would’ve been beyond pissed off if I spent that and the CSG and still didn’t get that 800 point mark.
This train situation is getting out of hand. Every single festival 2025 train item so far has PvP exclusive bonuses and the last 5 train series have been either PvP bonuses or… Tower/SL/Aspen??? It’s so weird how they are making it harder and harder for f2p/low spenders to get good train bonuses. We just have to wait months for Hero token or Retro Gaming to roll around. I understand that’s about how long it takes for f2p to gather enough tickets anyways but it still seems like they are going the wrong direction with these bonuses.

DH strategy is to not remove obstacles that block your progress but to create them so any time you are stuck and don’t make progress you spend money.
