Man these chin-less screens look hot, but I’m so frustrated that there are no 27 inch (or QHD for that matter) options 🙁
Hi, I’m new to all this monitor stuff. I’m just looking for the best monitor to play story games with the best resolution and quality possible. I have an EX MAX Y70 with a 5090 and RYZEN 7 9800X3D. Thanks for the help.
I would be afraid to play mmorpg or moba games on a oled monitor since will have static bar and text
Are there monitors that can do the switch thing you talked about at the beginning but from 4k to 1440p instad of 1080p ?
No Alienware AW3225QF?
Ima just stay away from this ❤ the pc is just amazing always wanted an oled screen but the price is not amazing
As someone who buys lots of Asus products, the chin on the panel is just not something I like in my setup. It’s such a small gripe but also big enough to not buy one. Probably going for the LG.
still a valid video or need an update on this?
Darmoshark m3s review?
What about a monitor for competitive gaming for PS5?
Can the LG OLED do 1440p also. I keep seeing 4k or 1080p and switching between the two but not sure if it does 1440p also? I’m currently buying parts for a new PC. Have a 4090 GPU and the 9800X3D CPU so I need to upgrade from my 4k 144hz monitor I use for my PS5
Is it possible that there will monitor that can switch from 4K to 2K like these from 4k to 1080p? I dont know how this technology works.
Should I get the 360hz Zowie or is there a better option for motion clarity?
These dude review all expensive monitors especially OLED 🙂
I just upgraded from an 1080p 144hz. Monitor to an oled 1440p 480hz Monitor and i dont see much difference. I start to believe this is all a hoax
Me chilling with my 1080p 60hz viewsonic VX2260WM

@optimum did you get a chance to test the alien ware 34" OLED? if so, thoughts?
What is better for gaming, 0.5 ms 540 hz or oled 480 hz 0.03 ms ? Does ms really matters that much for competitive gaming ?
Ive tested the pg32ucdm and the msi mpg 321urx. I tested every possible setting and the 321urx had less text fringing then the asus one. Asus gave me major headaches so ended with the msi.
just bought the msi one because of you. love your work.
so the hrz on the first monitor is completely useless unless you have a rediculus monster of a gpu in your pc. 480 hrz means nothing if your gpu cant hit that as well. also bit small.
anyone can help picking between these two please?
pg32ucdm vs aw3225qf
play something thats not overwatch😭😭😭😭
Id like to ask a question, I have a SAMSUNG

Should I upgrade to a OLED? Will I see an even better improvement?
does the first monitor he mentions of good color accuracy?
4K at 240 Hz. My dream is 4K 120 Hz.
😎😎😎😎😎
So is not recommended to have an OLED for day productivity office work and then some night gaming, movies, surfing online? would it be too much eye strain? Currently have two asus 4k 144hz 27 inch.
i love you mum
For the ASUS PG32UCDP does it have the same problem as the LG 32GS95UE where the dual mode 1080p 24 inch/27 inch modes look blurry?
Hey optimum i hope for you help i play fortnite competetiv my pc hit 300-400 fps on 1440 with some drops but most time over 300 im looking for a new monitor got atm 1440p acer predator 165hz and need new one for tournaments im not sure for zowie 2566k 360hz tn or oled 360 hz what you can recomend ? Hope you see this
btw , tn is gona outlast any oled ..
360 hz still feels a bit sluggish, I want +480 hz
what are some good options for competitive fps gaming on console?
Burn-in isn’t as bad as people think, but it’s not non-existent either. Depending on your usage, like hours a day of persistent UI, I wouldn’t risk it with OLED.
Personally, as good as OLEDs are, since I’m not a competitive gamer, I’m more interested in the recent developments in mini-LED while we wait for micro-LED to become viable. They’re getting incredibly good in TVs and monitors.
I wish manufacturers would invest more in the technology, but OLED is more profitable, which is probably why they’re pushing it so hard across all device categories.
probably only less than a thousands people who watched this can affort em.
If Im playing a game where my FPS is never going to be above 240 stable FPS (Rust and Escape from Tarkov..), is there any point at all to buy a monitor with over 240Hz?
Oleds are shit. Get a good quality mini led or ips
What do you think about LG 27GR83Q-B ultragear? compare to those 3 you mention?
Drove an hour to Microcenter last night and arrived half an hour before they closed to get an MSI MAG 271QPX 1440p 360hz. It was only on sale for $50 less at $700 but Wal-Mart for whatever reason had the same model listed for $100 cheaper and they price matched since it was sold and shipped from Wal-Mart. After gift cards/cash I paid $572, super happy with my first OLED purchase
I need some help here lads… I only game on ps5. I don’t have a pc nor do I plan on getting one. My question is, is it worth getting an Oled monitor? because the ps5 only supports up to 1440p with 120 frames per second.. and I really don’t want to have 4k with 60 frames per second as I play both storymode & openworld games for the immersion aswell as warzone and fortnite and for that I need the 120fps so I am stuck with 1440p. Which to me is absolutely fine but I wonder if an Oled will be the smartest choice and if I would be able to fully utilize what an Oled monitor offers.
I’m kinda new to all this so any advice would be much appreciated!
What about Sony inzone 480hz qhd oled 1440p? More expensive, but better or not?
Can you review the GIGABYTE FO27Q2 OLED (1440p 240hz), seems like a steal for 529 euros
what pc do you use?
What about the Alienware 360 1440p AW2725DF?
i like playing Nintendo games better on the tv then gaming moniter cuz that how consoles were made for is the big screen
moniters are more made for computer stuff
What about ROG monitor black screen problem?
Ffs these are all like $1000+
The 1080p 540hz monitor honestly doesn’t even seem worth it to me over a 480hz OLED even for competitive. Being able to read what’s on screen thanks to better blacks, contrast and colors seems like it would have a bigger impact on your reaction times than a slightly smoother framerate.
