  1. Didn’t see you mention a good mesh system. I fully do Alexa with multiple brand integrations. Coming from a background in commercial building automation, Alexa was the most reliable for me

  2. Reed! I have a question on the bond. So I am looking for a device that can control RF fans for the whole house. First thought was the bond. I remember a coworker telling me about it a few years ago. But, the Aqara M3 hub also came up when I did a quick search. However, I can’t find definitive information that it can control RF fans in the same fashion that the Bond can. Would you happen to know? 7:59

  3. Do you use google voice assistant with the pixel tablet?
Or have you set it up eith Home Assistant voice? If the later, how???

  4. Pretty much these are all useless, unless you love adding pointless things to Home Assistant for hours.

  5. I would definitely love a sofabaton video. I know it wasn’t considered that great a few years back so would love to see how far its come. I’m still using my Harmony Hubs, but the physical remotes are starting to fully wear out and I need a replacement.

  6. Thanks for the kind words about Bond reliability over the past 6 years. We have achieved this technically by building the product local-first, and organizationally by building a company culture focused on long-term relationship with customers… any changes we think about how it will impact ALL users, even folks that have not bought anything from us this decade.

  7. I’ve used smart bulbs from 5 different manufacturers and the most reliable one that wasn’t constantly forcing me to reauth with Samsung Smart Things (to connect to HA) is Philips. They are expensive for the RGB version, but very much worth it.

  8. do i need to study electronic engineering to build one ? or computer engineering ? pls reply i need to choose my major

  9. My hue lights have worked forever and my govee twnd to stop working/wifi issues after a year or two

  11. Cool video with some amazing gadgets I didn’t even know existed. The humor is a bit cheesy, but I suppose it grows on you.

  12. That smart bird buddy, you didn’t feed any animal yet, did you ? 😀 Since you used pikatchu instead of showing us real animal footage. What a joke 😀

  13. oww man… I’ve been wanting to switch to a home wifi mesh but right now I have automations on which wifi repeater I’m connected to but having the Teyleten ESP32 as a "presense sensor" with bluetooth connection to my phone / watch…. that’s a brilliant idea! Thanks for the idea!

  14. I can vouch for the LONGEVITY of Phillips Hue. I had got my starter kit 10 years ago and it’s still going STRONG.

  15. Yes would like to know more about sofa baton,if you made this already I’ll try to find it,we have original Logitech controller and it’s ok and all but lacking for support for speakers etc

  16. How much of all this still works if your internet connect go down.

    1. Do you lose any thing that goes to cloud.

    2. Do you lose network things because of no dns, or do you need a dns server on your network

looking to find out be for I install a system

  17. Can you do a video on more plant sensors? I have a bunch of house plants & live in AZ where the needs fluctuate wildly. I need something small that blends in with the soil, is rechargeable and sends updates to my phone. Your option is not practical with needing an external cord and/or battery

  18. This is the second time in as many days that a creator has referred to fluctuating CO2 levels. I was under the impression that CO2 is either managed, or leaking to the point where a traditional monitor will alert. Is there some level of CO2 which can affect brain function without being outright problematic and indicative of an emergency?

  19. Aranet4 is also helpful for deciding which Covid mitigations to implement, since CO₂ levels correlate with Covid risk.
